In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
• Client: The natural or legal person making use of the services of Sofa & Carpet Cleaning.
• Agreement: The arrangement between Sofa & Carpet Cleaning and the client regarding the performance of cleaning services.
• Work: The cleaning and maintenance services performed by Sofa & Carpet Cleaning.
2.1. These terms and conditions apply to all quotes, assignments and agreements of Sofa & Carpet Cleaning.
2.2. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed in writing.
3.1. All quotes are non-binding unless stated otherwise.
3.2. The client must report all relevant particulars that may affect the work in good time. In case of negligence, a fee of €50 will be charged.
3.3. The agreement is considered concluded upon written or digital confirmation by Sofa & Carpet Cleaning.
4.1. All prices are agreed in advance and include VAT.
4.2. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to adjust rates if more than 60 days have passed between order confirmation and execution of the work.
4.3. Any additional costs (such as transport or special treatments) are discussed with the client in advance.
4.4. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to periodically adjust rates based on market developments.
5.1. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to two working days before the agreed date.
5.2. Cancellations must be communicated in writing, via WhatsApp, by telephone or by email.
5.3. Late cancellation results in a fee of 35% of the contract sum, with a minimum of €50.
6.1. Complaints about the work performed must be reported in writing or digitally within five working days.
6.2. Complaints submitted after this period will not be processed.
7.1. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning guarantees maximum effort for an optimal cosmetic result.
7.2. Complete removal of stains caused by coffee, wine, urine or chemicals cannot be guaranteed.
7.3. The removal of odours, such as smoke or pet odours, is not 100% guaranteed.
8.1. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning is solely liable for direct damage resulting from demonstrable fault.
8.2. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning is not liable for:
• Damage caused by premature use of cleaned furniture.
• Loss or damage of property without demonstrable fault.
• Colour bleed or stains not reported in advance.
9.1. When furniture or other property is transported, the risk during transport remains with the client.
Private clients:
10.1. Payment is due immediately after execution by PIN or cash.
Business clients:
10.2. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date.
10.3. If the payment term is exceeded, statutory interest will be charged.
10.4. In the event of debt collection, extrajudicial costs of 15% of the principal will be passed on.
11.1. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. See our privacy statement for more information.
12.1. In the event of force majeure, Sofa & Carpet Cleaning may terminate the agreement without being liable for damages.
12.2. Force majeure includes situations such as illness, natural disasters and transport problems beyond Sofa & Carpet Cleaning's control.
13.1. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to use photos of work performed for marketing purposes, unless the client objects in advance.
14.1. These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.
14.2. Disputes are first submitted to a mediator. If this does not provide a solution, the dispute is submitted to the competent court in Sofa & Carpet Cleaning's place of business.
15.1. Sofa & Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Changes will be communicated in advance by email or publication on the website.
15.2. By continuing the relationship after changes, the client is deemed to agree to the new terms.
